Its working principle and operation process are as follows:
The roller mill pulverizes materials by means of two parallel rollers. The two rolls rotate in opposite directions, one spinning clockwise and the other spinning counterclockwise. When the block material enters between the rollers, it is gradually broken into smaller particles by the extrusion pressure and shear force of the rollers.
First, the bulk material enters the roller crusher through the feed port. Feeders can be manual or automated, depending on production needs and equipment configuration. When the material enters between two rollers, it is first subjected to the initial extrusion pressure of the roller. The roller surface is usually designed with uneven or toothed surfaces to increase friction and shear force, which helps to initially break the material.
After the initial extrusion, the material continues to move to the middle area of the roller, where it is subjected to stronger extrusion and shearing forces.
The material is further broken in this step to achieve the desired particle size.
The pulverized material is discharged through the discharge port. The outlet is usually equipped with a screen or other separation device to ensure that only the material that meets the size requirements can pass through, and the material that does not meet the requirements will be returned to continue grinding.
