Vacuum packaging machines are basically essential products for food packaging enterprises, but many people lack complete understanding of some precautions when using them. Below, we will briefly introduce some precautions for this machine to everyone.
1. When the vacuum pump is running, the oil level should be 3/4 of the oil window height. If it is lower than 1/2 of the oil window height, high-speed vacuum pump oil should be added in a timely manner. If the oil level is too high or too low, it will be detrimental to the vacuum pump motor. Please refer to the instructions for using the vacuum pump for specific methods;
2. The machine should be placed horizontally, with good ventilation in the environment and no corrosive gases or large dust in the surrounding area;
3. The machine must be equipped with grounding protection wires and the connection points must be regularly checked for good contact to ensure personal safety;
4. Before the machine starts working, the heating time and temperature must be set in an appropriate position, and the principle of starting from low to high should be mastered. The heat sealing time and temperature should not be set too long or too high at once to avoid burning the electric heating components or PTFE sealing paint cloth;
5. When the upper cover is pressed down, the vacuum pump begins to work. If the upper cover has not yet been fully sucked in, apply a little more force to press down the upper cover by hand (except for pneumatic models);
6. When the machine produces abnormal noise while working, and the pointer of the vacuum gauge does not move, it indicates that the direction of operation of the vacuum pump may be incorrect. The phase of its three-phase power supply may not be consistent with the factory phase, and it should be turned off immediately, otherwise it is easy to damage the vacuum pump. At this point, simply swap any two phases of the three-phase power supply (this phenomenon is not present in single-phase power supplies);
7. Regularly check the surface of the PTFE coating on the sealing part for foreign objects and flatness to ensure sealing quality. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner;
8. Check if the screws in various parts of the machine are loose and if the vacuum chamber moves flexibly left and right. An appropriate amount of lubricating oil should be added to the moving parts and oil holes;
9. In case of emergency during machine operation, press the emergency stop button and the machine cover can be opened on its own;
10. After the machine is finished working, the main power supply should be cut off.
