The structure and working principle of cyclone dust collector

Cyclone dust collector can be divided into tangential flow reversal type, axial flow reversal type and direct flow type according to the air intake mode. The dust removal in the grain industry is mainly used in the tangential flow reversal cyclone. The working principle is: the dust-bearing gas generates a rotating airflow through the inlet spinning structure. After entering the cyclone, it makes a spiral rotating movement along the outer wall from top to bottom. After reaching the bottom of the cone, the downward rotating airflow turns upward and rotates along the axis. When the air flow rotates, the dust particles move towards the outer wall and slow down under the action of inertial centrifugal force. Under the combined action of the air flow and gravity, the dust particles fall down into the ash hopper along the wall and are discharged. The gas sink to the axis area where the dust is removed is discharged upward through the exhaust core tube.

The performance of cyclone dust collector is usually expressed by its processing capacity, efficiency and resistance reduction three main technical indicators. Treatment capacity refers to the amount of dust containing gas that the dust removal device can handle in a unit time, which depends on the type and structural size of the device; Efficiency is the percentage of the amount of dust removed by the dust removal device and the amount of dust contained in the dust containing gas before the dust removal. The drag drop, sometimes called the pressure drop, represents a major indicator of the amount of energy consumed by the dusty gas passing through the dust removal device. The dust removal device with large pressure loss has large energy consumption and high operating costs during operation.
