Today, our factory welcomed a client from Brazil who visited us for a dry granulation machine trial. The customer brought Calcium Citrate Malate materials in different forms, including batches with higher powder content and others with more coarse particles, for testing on the GK-50 Dry Granulator.
During the visit, we conducted several rounds of material testing. By carefully adjusting the roller pressure and machine speed, we successfully controlled the granule hardness and optimized the final product quality.
After continuous trials and parameter improvements, we achieved the customer's expected results and gained their full satisfaction with the machine performance.
Working principle
The Calcium Citrate Malate powder is first fed evenly into the dry granulator through a screw feeder. The material is then compressed between two counter-rotating rollers under high pressure to form dense flakes or sheets.
These compacted sheets are subsequently crushed and milled into uniform granules through a granulating system. The final granules are screened to achieve the required particle size, while oversized or fine particles can be recycled for reprocessing.
This process does not require water, liquid binder, or drying, making it ideal for moisture-sensitive materials and efficient continuous production.

Calcium Citrate Malate (CCM) granules are a highly bioavailable form of calcium with good water solubility and excellent absorption in the human body. They are gentle on the stomach, causing less gastrointestinal irritation compared to other calcium sources.
